2011 was a big year for Mobile devices. Tablet and phone applications went wild. From Angry Birds to social media applications like Facebook, we can now take everything with us on one mobile device. Not only did this affect us personally but also on professionally. From 2010 to 2011, visits to the Visual Data Group website from a mobile device increased from .66 percent to 7.09 percent. My guess is that we will reach somewhere around 15 percent in 2012. This reminds us that mobile device use in business is here to stay and will continue to increase.
